FAQ

No. Your pain is real. The brain is just where information is processed, and pain is created to communicate the state of your nervous system. We are here to help improve that communication.

Is the pain “all in my head”?

1

Yes! The brain can change at any time thanks to neuroplasticity!

Can this work if I have had pain for years?

2

Knowing what you have already tried is information we can use to understand your nervous system better. Since most people have not tried addressing the nervous system directly, having someone to guide you through that process can be a game changer.

If you are still unsure, book a Discovery Call and we will let you know if we are a good next step for you.

What if I have already tried everything?

3

For example: You make an appointment for chronic knee pain. We take a health history to determine areas of the nervous system and body, besides the knee, that might need some work. We then assess how you are moving now. We coach you to perform a specific drill/exercise and then immediately re-assess your movement. We learn what works for you in the moment so you can leave feeling better than when you walked in.

What does a session look like?

What if I want to improve my movement, but i don’t have pain. Is this still a good option for me?

5

Yes! Using a brain-based approach to improve movement, even without pain, is still a great option. Pain is a message from the brain asking for change. But it is not the only message that can be utilized. The brain can use tightness, fatigue, strength, balance, dizziness and more to protect us. Working with the brain can improve all of those signals. So if you are not moving well because you feel stiff or tight, the brain could be using those signals to protect you. Our job is to change the message.
